Step 1. Open Google Cloud Services & Click Product & Services at the top left most part of the page.
Step 2. Now Select Compute Engine at the Service Panel of page.
Step 3. Now on left side of the page in service panel there is a option Images click on it.Now at the top of the page there is a option Create Image click on it.
Step 4. Now Configure the below settings.
Family : Optional
Description : Optional
Source : Choose whether to create an image from a Cloud Storage file or a Compute Engine disk
Source Disk : Select Disk for which you want to Create Image
Encryption : Automatic
Now click on Create
Step 5. Now your Image is created Successfully.
How To Attach Instance with Image
Note: There are two Methods to attach instance with Image.
Method 1.
Step 1. Select your Image after that click on Create Instance button which is available at the top center of the page.
Step 2. Now Create an Instance with the Below Settings.
Zone : Select zone near by your region(Your New disk and Your Instance must be in same region)
Machine Type : As per your requirement
Firewall : Allow HTTP or HTTPS Port
Now Click on Create
Step 3. Now your Image is successfully attached with your Instance.
Step 4. Click on your Instance to get full details.
Method 2
Step 1. Move to VM Instances after that at the Middle of the page there is a blue button Create Instance.Click on it.
Step 2. Create an Instance with the Below Settings.
Zone : Select zone near by your region(Your New disk and Your Instance must be in same region)
Machine Type : As per your requirement
Firewall : Allow HTTP or HTTPS Port
Now in Boot Column Click on Change,after that click on Your Image and select Image which you have created previously then click on Select.
Step 3. Now your Image is successfully attached with your Instance.
Step 4. Click on your Instance to get full details.
